Climate Activism in Germany

During the past years the climate crisis, consequences of global warming, our habits  of consumption and the capitalist exploitation of our resources have become a topic that society as a whole sees itself confronted with. During the globale climate strike 1.4 million people took it to the streets and demanded a mindchange in climate politics.  In a variety of collective actions people offer restistance and attempt to force immediate political changes. To the activists a connection of our ecological problems and their systemic, economical cause sometimes falls short.

During terror attacks and disasters everyone on site turns into a broadcaster and reporter. Through social media pictures and news spread from catastrophes, seeming unfiltered, displaying what happens. But everything depends on the point of view and interpretation. Who remembers a shootout at Munich Central Station?
